Ezymix Decorative Plaster is a pre-mixed cement-based decorative plaster, designed for easy application on roughly ﬁnished plastered surfaces or rough ﬁnished surfaces of Ezymix Decorative Plaster Internal/External. The product is ideal for both internal and external use, and it should be applied at a thickness ranging from 4mm to 6mm. You can effortlessly apply this plaster using a suitable plastering machine or by hand, following the guidelines speciﬁed in BS EN 13914-1 & BS EN 13914-2.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Before applying Ezymix Decorative Plaster, ensure that the surface is free from loose particles of dust and oil. In hot climatic conditions, you may dampen the surface with potable water. Additionally, make sure to level the rough plastered surface before proceeding with the application of the plaster.

PRODUCT PREPARATION

In manual application, it is crucial to measure the water according to the amount of material being used. The mortar powder should then be added to the water to prevent settling at the bottom of the mixing container. Consistency is essential in manual mixing, and the same quantity of water must be added to each bag to avoid color variations. Ensure that the mixing container is uncontaminated, non-corrosive, and clean, and only use potable water for the mixing process. For a uniform, lump-free mixture, it is highly recommended to use a mortar mixer or other mechanical mixing methods.

APPLICATION

By ensuring appropriate surface preparation and material mixing, you can utilize conventional plastering and application techniques to apply Ezymix Decorative Plaster. However, for faster application and increased work output, it is highly advisable to conduct thorough surface preparation and utilize a plastering/rendering spray machine for spraying the material.

CURING

No curing required in general, however maximum curing for 72 hours where hot climatic conditions prevail.

SHELF LIFE

Expiration of Ezymix Decorative Plaster is at

6 months after production date under dry and sheltered conditions.
